Vu+ Newbie
After testing latest images, not happy at all with Vu+, what they trying to do is turning satellite receivers in to multimedia center, this is not working well, but they did not think about this when they made this boxes, they should have made the flash much bigger, been switching between VTI and Black Hole, but they have included Kodi in their images, this is making images very big and heavy, do not know if this may cause the box to die early, this is not VTI and Black Hole fault, but Vu+ is going in to this direction, and no choice for people that make images, when i bought Vu+ could not think about this, not sure if this the right direction to go, i am going to use Black Hole 2.1.3, I hope Vu+ change this, and make two type of images, one only for Satellite Support, and one with Kodi, which i do not like, but never mind, nothing i can do to change this!!!
 
On what you have make such an opinion that this is due to XBMC.
XBMC does not use anything if you do not use.
XBMC is the plugin and you can use or not.
You can delete.
But you will not get anything more with it.
Perhaps on the harddisk if you have use XBMC but is that really important with such big disks ?

I also not use XBMC .

I think you must thinking on buying another STB ---> Prismcube

Thanks for your comment, i just think that we should have support for satellite receiver not multimedia box, i can delete Kodi but still the image is to big, when i bought this box, i bought satellite receiver not multimedia box, now after 2.1.4 version, Kodi is included on every image, in my view should be two type of images, one clean satellite support, and other with Kodi, this is my view, i do know if this is possible, i think if you can talk to Vu+ Factory and tell this will be nice, or you as Black Hole Team can do this, maybe i am wrong, maybe i like Kodi in the Future, but this is how i think now, i will not change Satellite for nothing in the World now, not IPTV, not Android, Nothing, maybe i am clear now, and you understand me!!!
 
I understand your views because I had them too.
But this is not so.
Impact of XBMC on image as an add is very small.
Probably HbbTV has a greater influence.

Future Satellite Receiver can not only survive with satellite TV
It is ideal for multiple use for everyone in the house.
Satellite TV, Streaming, Multimedia, IPTV, XBMC, HbbTV and much more.
Next receivers will use a stronger or perhaps much stronger processors
it is unnecessary to make such machines for the satellite TV only.
