VU Remote codes for old Denon 3802 receiver.?!

I have the new solo2 an i have been trying to program the remote for my old Denon AVR 3802 receiver for volume control and power on/off
I have tried the followig
1+3 for 3 seconds (led on)
i have tried 0731 from uno guide but dosnt work
tried power/volume button no response

Searched the net for codes but little success..

Anybody have any ideas ?? can i scan the Denon remote IR into the VU Remote |?

Tried 1+3 until led flashes and stable
entered 1388 and led flashed a few times and then went out ( i expect it didnt recognide the code)
tried the power button - and solo2 powered of ... rather than denon powering off..

1388 was what i had used for the sky remote which worked, but not sure if this remote works with this code/
