Hello!
I have Vu+Solo with latest BH image installed. receiver connected via HDMI to Pioneer A/V receiver.
Sometimes (once per 3 - 5 minutes) my screen gone black for 1 sec, without loosing sound. It's happens when menu are on screen or during SAT channel watching.
The same HDMI cable and A/V input was used before for connecting another sat receiver - without the same problem ..

Try to change HDMI cable, check settings on your AV System

the same with another two cables - one taken form XBox, another one from Vu+ Solo set
there is no any settings for HDMI on my AV system. The same input are working ok with other devices

Try with FTA (non crypted) channel.

This happens sometimes, if my router is restarted. Try to test without WLAN, if you are connected to WLAN.

Hmmm, looks like it's compaibility problem between A/V receiver and Vu+Solo.... is it possible to change HDMI version or other low-end hdmi settings ?

No, HDMI version is defined by HW. Solution could be Spdif audio connection to receiver and HDMI switch for TV-Solo-Receiver Video signal.
I can't give you more tips. I don't know your AV stuff configuration :)

It's pretty simple - Pioneer VSX-520-K Receiver are used for swithing between 6 HDMI Videosources. 5.1 Sound system connected to A/V Receiver. One cable HDMI goes to TV...

Looks like there is no solution for this problem... but there is a workaround - using YPbPr + TossLink to HDMI converter... it cost me 20 EUR + 1 component cable + 1 more power socket used :)
