Vu+ SOLO image quality on SD channels

Hi.
Is it just me who is having a very poor image on SD channels on my Vu+ SOLO or it's a common problem? What to do to fix this? I really need your help
I use Vu+Solo in the kitchen with a LED 1080i TV and image is quite good.
