Vu Solo Plus v.1. dead power supply ok

Help, my vu solo v.1 2010 recently just switched itself off and is dead (no led etc) i swapped the PSU with a known good one and NADA! i heard one there was a way to flash with a serial lead, is that possible and if noyt ...HELP!!

Please note that if your box (Solo Plus v.1) it's a Vu+ clone it's not supported on this forum....
