vu+ solo problem

dear sirs
i purchased a vu+ solo receiver recently & faced a problem on first week!!
actually, when i was exploring the setup, i entered the "plugins" & downloaded one of the skins in "tunisia...." (which was part of plugin browser in default); after the completion of download i entered the "skin" menu & select it, the system restarted but after booting process the display goes green & gives an error that "..your STB encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted.." and system restarts but the same thing happens again & the unit is not starting!
i thought maybe the selected skin is not compatible with my device, i used the "reset" button on back of receiver but problem still presists.
please guide me how to solve the problem, is there any options that i can use to make the
system goes to "reset to default factory conditions" without using the remote control (because in present conditions the receiver is not responding to the remote control)
please help me, awaitin reply, thanks alot

The problem is around the usage of "tunisia" addon.
That plugin is not supported by this Team.
Flash your box with BH downloade by this Board and green screens disappear.
 
Hi behzad,
from U'r post I can tell that U using an image backup, not a clean BH image ( recommended),
However,if U know, how to use DCC progrem or the like!

1st -Go to the e2 files and delete the skin U installed...the STB should go to default skin when e2 start again!
2nd-Or start with a fresh/clean BH image installation ( recommended)!
3nd- Never install any skin that is not in the BH image,,,,there are alot of beautiful skin to choose from in the image server, hand crafted by the skin masters MX10 & Army!

We give support for our image
not for backup images with addons .

So install a clean image and use our skins and it will be all right.
You can try to delete the skin that you have installed
via FTP to /usr/share/enigma2/name of the skin

Delete this skin

Hello, i am new to Vu+, i have a solo. Unfortunately i am also new to FTP , so if you could explain this in a manner that myself with limited experience in this field can understand i would highly appreciate it..

I have a similar problem where i downloaded a skin from the addons menu after solo restarted an error STB encountered a problem and needs to be restarted is displayed. The solo system reboots itself and then displays the same screen.
Currently i am connected via FTP and have deleted the MXRedz skin. But i am still getting the same error. I wanted to run the bug fix Skin_Default and i am not to sure if i should also delete this file Via FTP also.

I am currently still looking through the forums for other methods to fix this error. But i feel this problem is similar to Opening Post.
