Hallo.
I am a newbie on forum
I have buyed a new Vu+ SOLO SE V2 Twin-S2 and 5 seconds after power it on, the LED on the front
blinks twice and after 12 seconds a blue start picture ´VU+ your smart linux tv player´ coming up and
after totaly 26 seconds the screen turns black.
I have not flashed or done anything else with the box all this happends the first time i powered it on.
I have tried to start it several times but it behaves exactly the same every time.
Did you pay to have it set up?
Have you tried pressing the menu button?
You can try re-flashing it, with a Blackhole image, either Blachole 3.0.3 or Open Blackhole 1.0, using a FAT 32 formatted USB stick, but you will have to set the tuners up, and load your channels: http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/black-hole-3-0-3-h-kodi-vu-solose.32203/
Hi.
Thank´s for quick reply
- No I have not payed for a set up, but they (CDON.com) must sell it with image installed, or??
- Yes I have tried the menu button.
I´m a newbie on forums but not a newbie on stb:s, have myself an Ultimo which i have flashed a several times so I think the problem is something else.
Considering my error description I think perhaps someone knows the problem, e.g. that the box is broken and therefor no idea to flash it or that a flash
will solves the problem.
I must think on the warranty.
If the company didn't change anything it should have been shipped with the original VU+ image:
Code:
http://code.vuplus.com/
Contact your supplier, explaining the problem, and get them to send an email confirming that you can try flashing Blackhole 3.0.3 onto your receiver, without voiding the warranty.
They should allow this as it's a cheap remedy, compared to them having to pay for shipping, and testing, of the receiver.
Hi folks
I took a chance and flashed the box and now everything seems to work).
I've restarted it several of times and there is no fault so far.
Thanks to all who has been engaged in my problem
