VU+ solo set up

Dear all,
I have a VU+ SOLO original came with latest black hole and bootloader, and after i use it for 2 days ....it frozen and reading in the VU + community I reload the BH emage AGAIN but i can not put ***** only *****
Can someone tell me if i have to load the bootloader again ?
and where to find it the files...
also am looking for the best BH emage for the solo and the best ***** please
I look every where and the more I look the more confused I get
