put a password on your web if, NAT your Webif (TCP 80) and Stream (TCP 8001) Then you will be able to watch TV from anywhere as long as you have a good upload (> 6 Mb/s)
I use it from another computer 80 miles apart and also on a phone on wifi and even LTE/4g.
Yes, NAT/PAT has to be done on your router. For Webif you can have a different port (e.g WAN TCP 50080 > LAN TCP 80) but for the stream you must have the port number (8001) as that's what is inside the m3u streaming playlist.
If for some reason you want to use a different streaming port then you have to edit a python file.
