Vu+ Solo4k MTS module not working properly, help!

Please help me solve the problem! IMG_20200322_105238-1 (1).jpg

The service status is descrambled, indicating the Cam, card, account are all fine.

But the scrambled services are displayed with mosaic for some channels or color screen (could be green, white etc.), all with discontinuous audio.

It seems an additional software may be needed to solve the problem. The image used is OPENATV 6.4 (I also tried other images, same phenomenon), and there is no difference with high bit rate on or off.

Thanks in advance!

You should set, in the Common Interface menu, the option High Bitrate support to YES.
I'm almost sure you have this problem only for HD channels, not SD ones.
But we are the BlackHole and OpenBlackhole forum ;)

I will change to BH or OpenBlackhole image, but, for the image being used now, there is no difference even High Bitrate support is set to Yes. FYI.

Hmmm, this is strange, So far, each time users had a problem like yours it was because of that setting.
You may always try to set it to... NO and see what happens! :)

Have you checked which type of channels have this problem and which haven't? I see it's an UltraHD module: for instance, the latest Tivusat module for some new 4K channels is not supported by same images: maybe it's the same with yours.
Because, if you experience problems either with 4K or HD or SD channels whatever options you choose in the C.I. menu, this means there is incompatibility between the image and the module.
So, trying OBH (I'd try it as first attempt, even because it's an open project like the one you have now and so you'll find it similar to OATv) or BH would be interesting.

Thanks for your valuable information.
Currently, no matter for 4K, HD or SD scrambled channels, the phenomenon is the same. As you have suggested, I will later install OBH (BH) images to see what happens.
Will also set High Bitrate support to Yes and No to check if difference will be observed:)

I installed OBH (4.3.015) last night and found Authentication cannot be accomplished (when scrambled service was selected).

During the process, I powered off the STB, dethatched the CI and no miracle happened. I then pushed the CI in place and left the STB ON for hours for a scrambled channel till this morning and still authentication cannot be made as shown in the pictures.

I feel puzzled and actually, I am new to CI and warm suggestions are welcome sincerely...

I will install BH 3.0.9 later today and will share with you what happens and thanks for your attention:)

BH 3.0.9 was installed. The reaction time of descrambling was very quick. Though scrambling was carried out, whereas no matter with High Bitrate Support set as Yes or No, still there was mosaic (or unstable display of different colors for different channels) on the screen and with discontinuous sound.

Is there any plugin that may be needed to help solve the phenomenon? I just guess.

Thanks for your attention.

Bitrate should be yes and try diffrent DVB CI delay settings.

OBH you can forget it have never worked good with any Module.
There is no plugin for BH or OBH and its illegal to use so we dont discuss them here.
