vu+ ultimo diseqc problem

Hi,
I use a vu+ultimo with fpg 4.5 and black hole 3.02.F
I use 3 LNB on one cable ; this configuration is prefectly managed by the tuner of my samsung TV set.
Vu+ ultimo switches correctly between LNB 1 and LNB 2 (postion A and B) but no way to get LNB 3 recognized.
I tried tuner advanced configuration but I did not get anything.
Is that a bug or is there any setting which can solve the management of 3 LNBS.

What is FPG 4.5?
The VU+ receivers should be capable of handling 4x, 8x, 16x, and larger, Diseqc switches, and LNB's, compared to which yours is a basic set up.
Try setting your Tuner up to Simple, Diseqc A,B,C,D and then configure the various LNB's.
 
If it works correctly on your Samsung TV set, which I'm surprised has Diseqc switching options, then it should work on your VU+ receiver.
Have you tried moving LNB 3 to Port D?

Yes Samsung tv set is pefectly managing diseqc (Samsung ue40c6700)and I used it for 3 years without any failure.
Yes I tried setting up port D to LNB 3 and it did not solve the problem.
Sometimes, I can obtain a good scan of LNB 3 (Astra 28,2) without modifying settings ; but when I try to use scanned channels, it 's very erratic. Sometimes, pefect, very often nothing.
And I have no problem in using LNB1 and LNB2 on port A and B ; vu+ is perfectly running with diseqC A and B.
That looks for me as a bug in the management of diseqC with three LNB by Vu+ ultimo.
 
Different receivers have been known to have problems with different Diseqc switches.
Have you got a different one, you can try?

After diagnosing my whole installation, I found a problem with LNB output ; one of the outputs was failing.
After having fixed it, I can confirm that Vu+ is perfectly managing diseqc with 3 LNBs.
