There is a lot of confusion about these .
I would just like to know can i only put one of the dual tuner modules i slot 3 in my Ultimo and can i still put my Dtt tuner module in slot 1 or 2 or could i put the dual tuner modules in slot 1+2 and leave my Dtt module in slot 3.
What are the limitations ?

On Ultimo box it's clearly reported on the manual that you CANNOT use slot A and slot C without a tuner into B.
Use only slot A and B and all should works properly.
I don't have yet the dual tuner P&P .... but ASAP I will order it.
 
what i mean is that the is reports that the the dualtuner module only works in slot c and not in a or b
i was thinking of putting a dual tuner in slot a and b but if this does not work then there is no point
and i'd like to know if the c/t tuner module works in slot a+b
I have a single sat tuner in slot a+b at the moment and the c/t in slot c i would like to upgrade tuner a+b
 
Hi, this is my first post and im a total noob.
I have a vu+ uno, do i need to upgrade to a twin tuner to be able to record 1 channel whilst watching another?

if they are on different transponders/frequencies you will need two feeds from your dish so yes upgrade to a twin tuner should do the job if you have a lnb on your dish with more outputs like a duo lnb or quad lnb you would have to get an other cable from your dish too if you don't already have that.
 
Thanks i already have another feed ready because i used twin cable when i ran it to the box to save me time later if i ever upgraded. Ill look into getting one then.

I can confirm that this is still the case.

FYI:
Tuner D is not working, if you setup Tuner C "same as" Tuner X.
Tuner C must have its own configuration, or else Tuner D is not working.

Hi,

I have an Ultimo and bought a twin dvb-s2 tuner. I have a dvb-t tuner in slot b and the twin tuner in slot c. I can see three tuners ok in config, however i cannot tune to any channel on any tuner. What's going on here?
