Vu + ultimo locked up

Vu+ Newbie
Hello can somebody help please. I have a vu+ ultimo that seems to have locked up. All I am getting on my tv is the blackhole logo (1.7.6) and no matter what button I press on the remote control the box does nothing ,on the box I get the vu+ logo it tries to kick in after about 5 minutes but nothing happens.
 
The easiest is to put some new image
than to find fault.
If I do not know what the followed before lock.
