Hi my motor is now only driving east, done full reload of BH 3.0.5i and updated. Checked all cables all belled out OK, can drive motor east / west using buttons underneath motor. But when selecting a program channel on another satellite on the east motor moves to it and all is good. Try for progam channel on west satellite and dish don`t move. My thought was a dodgy motor so purchased a new one and set up, but still the same. So was wondering and fresh ideas from anyone might help me out please.
Do you have the West limits set?
Does the motor move manually when using the green and yellow remote buttons in the positioner setup menu of the receiver?
Is it a Diseqc motor, or 36V motor and V-Box II?
Have you loaded your own channel list, or other?
Have you tried replacing the co-ax cable?
If you move to 19.2E will the motor move West to 16E, or it will not move West at all?
He should have a small ku motor because those are the only ones I know of that have buttons underneath.
The motor moves manually using the buttons underneath, and the motor moves using the green and yellow buttons in the positioner setup menu of the receiver. The only thing really left is settings OR the East/West limit is not set correctly.
Carefully check the settings you are using for each satellite. if you cannot get it to work or do not find the problem, then post the settings you are using for each satellite.
Replaced the LNB as seems to be intermittent picture on sats sometimes work sometimes not, but it seems to have cured the problem re-aligned dish as well and all good now.
Thanks for help and advice.
