Vu+ Uno 4k points to clarify

Vu+ Newbie
Hi everyone
I am new to Linux STB's, as I have been previously using non linux STB's.
I have narrowed down the model to Vu+ Uno 4k.
In this connection I have a few points to get clarified before purchase.
1. Is the Linux OS and the image 2 different things or is the same thing.
2. What is the manufacturers Linux OS on the Vu+ Uno 4k.
3. What is the manufacturers image on the Vu+ Uno 4k.
4. Why should you change to a new image.
5. What tuner is fitted as standard (dual FCB DVB S/S2" or the dual FCB DVB-C tuners)
6. With the dual FCB DVB S/S2 tuner fitted, can you connect 2 LNB's.
Best regards

1) Linux STB is a non correct way to define them. The OSs you find in these boxex are Linux-based OSs, not Linux.
2) Consequently, the answer here is: NONE
3) Usually the Original VU+ image (image=OS, in receivers' world)
4) For the same reason you want to change from Fedora to Ubuntu or to Debian: they are different.
5) Here I cannot answer you: someone else will. But, usually, you can choose different configurations when you order a VU+. I suppose it's the same with Uno4K.
6) Dual DOES NOT MEAN double. Dual means with two way of working. So, a dual tuner is ONE tuner.
