Vu+ Uno LNB & HDMI pass through

ckone

Vu+ Newbie
I would to like to point two very common features that are missing from Vu+ Uno.
The first is that the LNB pass through is not working. It would be great to have the option to enable lnb pass through when the stb is on standby.
And the second one is to have the option to enable Dolby Digital pass through HDMI cable.

If this is technically possible it would be great to have this options implemented in upcoming firmawares.

-LNB Pass through should work without Drivers.
But I can not tested I don't have secondary receiver.
- Press Audio on remote and Close Dolby Digital Down-mix.(First choice)
Regards.

LNB pass through does not work even on standby or deep standby. Only when the STB is working some of the frequencies pass through. I haven't figure it out yet how exactly is working. As for the HDMI, i know about the dolby digital downmix. But what about 5.1 dolby? You have to use digital out for the audio towards the AV amplifier. You need 2 cables when you could only use one.
I can accept that LNB pass through is new for Vu+ since UNO & ULTIMO are the first models with lnb out tuners. I suppose they will fix it in upcoming drivers one day. But for HDMI it's a pitty that i have to use a digital out cable when there is a obvious sollution.. DOLBY DIGITAL VIA HDMI
I have to say that this is not complaints but my observations to a GREAT receiver that can be even better.

HDMI development is in progress for UNO & ULTIMO.
There are Audio/Picture/Quality/CEC issues need to be resolved.
I know VU+ is trying to reproduce issues in Lab and develop new drivers.
Our Community helps by pinpointing problems and helping VU+ Labs to identify them.
This is not done automatically of course, but with the help of all the administrators. :victory:

Regards.

P.S
Has any other member issues with LNB Pass through ?

I have figured out what is wrong with HDMI pass through. When i connect my STB to my Denon AV amplifier DD is recognized, but when i connect to my Samsung TV DD 5.1 is not recognized. So there must be a flaw on HDMI code that prevents my Samsung and the STB to allow DD from being recognized as an acceptable format.
