vu+uno not support full hd 1080p just 1080i need answer​

can any 1 tell me why the vu+uno not support full hd 1080p​
​
when you inter 2 the installation and av stings you just found 1080i maximum​
​
we need something about that​
​

As far as I know, currently the max resolution for satellite broadcast is 1080i, but Uno can play recordings 1080p.

Why is don't supported ? I mean, there is a cheap very cheap receiver those support 1080p and I was surprised when I've found that VU+ Uno don't support it !!

In Black Hole images you can setup 1080p modes in autoresolution plugin:
menu -> setup -> system > Autoresolution
 
The hardware of all Vu+ models does not support 1080p. This limit is imposed by the chipsets being deployed. This is also the case for all Dreambox models or anyother STB available today by my knowledge.
Any reference to 1080p support refers to capabilitries to play such content via downscaling to 1080i output.

Only the newly announced Solo2 and Duo2 will get full support for 1080p including support for 3D via HDMI1.4 which makes them unique.
These added streaming/player capabilities are only useful for playing external media files such as BD as satellite standards don't have comparable capabilities yet.

ATM there is no practical need for​
1080p, as 99% of HD channels broadcast in​
1080i.​
​
