Vu+ Newbie
Hi.
I am a new user of vu+ uno. I need som advice how to install Black hole image on my new uno.
existing image on uno is an experimental _vu+_version 2001-06-16.

regards
Espen

Format you memory stick on you PC FAT32.
Create a directory in called vuplus.
Within the the vuplus directory create another folder called uno.
Unzip the USB upgrade files into that directory.
The files are :
boot_cfe_auto.jffs2
kernel_cfe_auto.bin
root_cfe_auto.jffs2
splash_cfe_auto.bin
Power off your VU+ Uno.
Insert memory stick into front USB slot.
Power on your VU+ Uno and follow the on screen instructions.

On Screen Instructions will include press ch- on the Uno to initiate flash. This must be done within 10 seconds as i have found or it will boot box as normal
once done it will advise you to remove USB Stick and reboot

I followed your instructions. but I can not see that box booted new image. When I start the box, I see an hourglass that goes a little box and starts normally. something I am doing wrong?
-formated usb memory stick FAT32
-created a new folder vuplus / uno
-add all 4 files into the uno (BH 1.6.5)
-connected to the USB port and rebooted

Download black hole image and extract to usb, the folders are already created for you.

Also why 1.65 ? 1.66 is the most up to date image.

A friend asks you worked with some deco com enigma 2

Is very easy ...just follow the instructions and be patient ...

sorry, I'm very fresh to Decoder environment. Trying to learn how the system works. It does not mean I try to use something that is not allowed. I am very happy to join the community. Their advice was very valuable. Thank you again.
