VU+ Uno4k - multiboot stuck after installing openBH 0.6

As in subject, after selecting boot into openbh the system stopped working (stuck in boot, even after detaching HDD). There must be something in openbh which writes directly into primary flash.

So be warned before trying to install open-bh 0.6 into Uno4k open multiboot...

Probably when unpacking a image on OpenMultiboot, you have corrupted the kernel in the flash image.

If you know wich version image you have, you can recover it ( the most times it does ), by reflashing only the kernel of the used image:

For example if you are using also Open Black Hole image in Flash, you can reflash it by using only this files:

kernel_auto.bin
force.update

Put this file on a Usb Pen Device and flash it.

The files must be located in the normal flashing folder, ie, at:

I think that the Open Multiboot plugin should check whether flash kernel is not corrupted and if yes than it should at least give some warning that the repair is necessary (or do backup before mounting new distro and then repair automatically in case of problem).

The Open BH is now working nice without any problem, as other distros installed via multiboot.

Sometimes is not ths plugin itself but indeed the device we use for OpenMultiboot purposes.
By other way some images could give trouble when unpacking, altough in any case there´s no kernel mixing.
We said on the Manual for Open Multiboot to unpack only from flash image, but users are doing too from OpenMultiboot installed images ( and this could give issues ).

Anyway i´m glad and happy ;) that you sorted it out, without the need of loosing your settings and start it from scratch.

I have a similar problem, everything will go smoothly even when the initial settings and confirm that last longer starts.
