Hello, I already found the way to turn off the deco completely, you have to give the command to the power button of the remote in menu - configuration - user interface - key configuration, there you press the power button of the remote and select in the options that + power and hibernate marks come out, you confirm with the green button on the remote and the deco is ready when you gently press the power button it will turn off completely without consuming anything ..
I did not like to leave the deco in idle since it is running at very low lactation but it is still on and I saw how it warmed up a little but it warmed up and it was a little for comfort just by pressing the soft key and it would hibernate without having to touch nothing .....
The safest way to completely turn off the Vu + is to do it from the rear switch.
If you put it in deep standby if the power fails, the decoder will turn on when the power returns and if you don't notice it will always remain on.
Tried on my skin and at my expense.
I see you are a bit confused. Please explain us better because in your first post you say: I want to configure the button of the command to turn off so that the deco turns off completely and does nothing else".
Now you talk about "+ power and hibernate": what does it mean?
There are only two possible ways of putting the STB in standby (but not completely switched off): the standby and the DeepStandBy.
The first is not a real powering off, is the more power consuming. STB will get awake immediately, without booting the operative system (what we call enigma2 "image").
The second is less consuming and you'll need to boot the whole image.
But also the DeepStandBy is not like switching off the STB by the power button and you'll be able to have a scheduled timer working even in this state: the STB will boot the system and will execute the timer.
There is no hibernation mode.
Anyway: everything you can do is by the Setup/User Interface/Button Setup. If you have any doubts you can also have a look at this little guide of mine:
