Surely a powered one. Better to avoid Chinese cheap products: a hub is already a problematic device, because it does not multiply ports, as ingenuously and naively many people think, but it divides one port into many.
And it's not a passive device, because it uses some IC to work and some cheap one may cause troubles.

TP-LINK type TL-WN321G at 54Mbps
and one
TP-LINKWN821N at 300 Mbps
perfectly working
which I used on a vuduo and a vosolo4k respectively before switching to powerlines
I can sell them to you one or the other for 20 € each excluding expenses
