Vu+ Zero as client for a Vu+ Duo2

Hi everyone,

I have a configuration with a Vu+ Duo2 in the living room and now I acquired a Zero for the bedroom. I want to use Zero as a client to the Duo+ so streaming movies and LiveTV from the Duo2 (I do not have a SAT cable on the bedroom). I realized that due to hw limitation the image BH3 on zero do not have XBMC/Kodi embedded. Tried with KodiDirect (I installed successfully) but or I o not know how to setup it or is not working as I want.
So...how I can setup my Zero to read from the Duo2?

About channel streaming, you can (and I suggest!) to use Remote Channel Stream Converter on Zero box.
 
Another way to do it is to enable the tuner server in your Duo2 ( blue button > blue button > tuner server) and then to use the Zero's Media Player for streaming.
You will find the channels list in your Duo2 hdd (/hdd/tuner).

What about the recordings/movies stored on the Duo2? Which is the best way to stream them to the Zero?
 
I managed to connect for Live TV through streaming converter and for recordings via a network mount.

Hi colleagues,

I've got a question about recording and timer function in remote channel stream converter. I have one Vu+ Duo with 2 tuners, one 16GB USB flash (for timeshift) and USB Hdd (for recording) connected. My second (client) receiver is Zero. Both are working with VTi 9.0.2. Primary recording path of Zero is network storage (HDD connected to Vu+ Duo). When I try to start recording picture is messed and 0,0B is recorded.
And here is the question: Is it possible to record video watched on Zero directly on Vu+ DUO(server site), or place recording timers from Zero on DUO (something as Thin Client)?

I need a little help with my 2 vu plus receivers.
I have a Solo SE v2 and a Solo 4k connected in my home network, and both with sat cables.
Got a USB storage disk connected to the solo SE where I do my recordings.
How can I watch my recordings from the USB disk in the 4K.
