Vu+ Zero

Hi, I recently purchased a Vu+Zero, I want to view it on an iPad via the Vu+ player app or Vlc. In the app the Vu+ is showing connection established. But no video appears, I can edit the bouquet so it is connected. In the Vlc again it appears connected but no video, I am using port 8001 in the App & Vlc. It is probably something simple but I am new to this area... Can anyone confirm the ports are correct and if any else needs to be programmed etc. Thanks in advance
