Everything work ok, but after some time my box stops updating time and date from transponder and goes nuts for some reason. Using latest BH 3.0.9L.
To explain more, the real time is 13:17 and my box shows 12:43. Tried telnet to box and using :
date -s YYYY.MM.DD-hh:mm:ss
the box shows ok time but when i use "date" in telnet it again shows 12:43.
The only option is to reboot the box, but i don't want to reboot the box every few hours because of this. Can someone help?
Try and change the first channel in the first bouquet, that means the one whose number is 1.
Usually, it is the channel on 1 that is used to get the time from the transponders.
Our VU+ don't have a system time clock on the motherboard. Only OBH can adjust its time from a NTP server.
You sure about this? If i don't tune to that transponder then it gets the time from where? As i noticed it takes the time info from the current transponder that it's tuned to.
I think i would need rather some plugin for time updating thru NTP or internet. If anyone knows some please share it for Zero4k. Thanx in advance.
