watching vu on iphone away from home

i know it is possible to watch dreambox on your phone on the same network but can we watch it away from home?

i see there is vu player but that doesnt seem to load for me on the latest firmware on my phone.

any help or suggestions welcome

Currently using "Dreambox live" on my ipad2 (and briefly tested on my wife iphone 4s, both on ios 5.0.1), had to build a new bouquet with SD channels only and it works like a charm with my ultimo (not at all with the tgs100). Looking at TV away for your home might be difficult though, your dsl up link might not be enough to support the few Mbps required bandwith. The app propose 3 video quality choices but my wild guess is that it is only dropping frame during decoding.

Have checked in the app manual, the video quality is only to reduce power consumption on the mobile side. The slingbox doesn't support ios either but it would be nice to have the ability to stream with lower resolution and frame rate. Haven't found a way in standard web interface, we could try using gstreamer but I didn't found the element corresponding to the video decoder given by gst-inspect command, does anybody know if it's possible ?
 
Just To Add That The ( Istreamgate app ) works on my iPhone 4s almost perfect on 3G as well as wifi but not ( HD channels ) Tested And Working
