what is?

bit of a newbie is there a thread or link where i can find out just what is a skin & what can i do or not do with it on my duo
same goes for picons & plug ins
have tried the search but can't find a guide for dummies
i have read the manual but that just glosses over & don't explain what they are
have just loaded my first new image black hole 1.7.2 took a while to get it going but now would like to try out some of the goodies that are available but not sure of what is compatible with my image ,don't want to fug it up

The skin is the graphical part of the image (firmaware) you are usiong.
Plugins are some little programs you can use in your img.
For instance in BH press green botton.
Picons are little images of the channel you are using, you can install from addons panel, green botton, then yellow.

All of the plugin @Image server are compatible with your STB (Due),,,!

I would recommend the following:-
1- Add USB stick @the back and mounted it!
2-Install all the picon U desire @USB,,,they are fun and add colorful look to the skin...!
3- Install one or 2 plugin,,,like weather Sat or ..Vierg (Fun game)... !
4- Read few posts here and there, to know more about the TOY you have,, !
5- Do not venture (yet) with out side plug-ins , you may have crashes or U miss up the skins/images/STB,, !

i have been playing a bit & have had more than one green screen
been trying to make a back up just in case !!! as i have put in days of messing about would hate to lose the lot duo wont make a personal backup so i made a full one to USB
if the duo crashes do i just insert it in the front & reboot it?

OK Fine,

-Just Do Personal Backup,,,it will be sufficient!
-No, when U have crashes do not insert USB @Front!
-If the image don't start by itself (No more green) ,then power (Off/On) from the Back!
-If the image do not start at all,,,then U can use your back up(stored @USB) and insert it in front or just install a new image!
-Now U can use the BH Personal back w/the one you have or any future BH Images!
