When to expect XMBC on VU+ duo approx

Hi Guys,
It was announced at sometime in Q1 of this year for beta. Any chances of getting a more accurate date? I really want to use xmbc as media player as i love their functionality and quality and mixed with vu+ this would be a killer combination.
 
As far as I know XBMC will never be for VU + duo.
Where you found this information ?

XBMC will be on the new generation of satellite receivers
and is expected to be probably at the end of the year.
Of course this is not a precise date nor we know it.
 
I was reading xmbc specs and an article on google regarding xmbc on set top box. I know already that xmbc used to run on hardware which is much more lower spec than vu+ duo etc. So i am guessing it should be easy to port them too?
