I have a 360 cm dish sold ( 4-pieces ) which is has a narrow focal point which needs a large Ku-LNB that has circular Rings that can collect more signal Rays to the focal point similar to this LNB shown below and does those LNBs used for most Offset Dishes can be used for Prime Focus dishes such as the Inverto Black Ultra LNB shown below . I have already both the two LNBs Therefore Which one Can I install to my dish the 360cm above ? Please Advice
i use an inverto which appears to be a good lnb for the cost but i do use an offset dish. has the existing lnb setup got adjustable skew my old primefocus one had years ago i found newer stb's i have used dont have the facility to drive these hence me changing to a simpler dish setup. i would have thought the 4 part setup would be more flexable to adjust exactly. how about a new low noise lnb to fit your existing setup. but i suppose it depends on what stb u are planning to use & weather that will drive all parts needed i also had some headaches with focal points & lnb holders whilst considering the same problem you have i did buy a C120 (i think it was called) universal lnb for the old dish but to be honest i never did use as i decided to wall mount a smaller more modern dish with an h-to-h mount with usals & an offset dish which is far lighter for one thing wen on a wall than my prime focus. you dont need much of a mismatch between lnb's dish'es etc before you will be losing signal which will at least partially defeat any upgraded equiptment. i am no expert just the fun i have had over the years regards
