Hi,
i've a 2TB external HDD with power, i want to know which kind of format process (ext1/2/3/4) to use if i want to have both my pc (on W7) and my solo2 capable of reading it (and writing also)
HDD will be full only with media files (movies, mp3s,...)

thank you in advance

if your disk is connected to your box the best choice is to format it in ext4 and then connect your box to your pc with samba.
In this way you can read/write in your disk both from windows and linux.

where do i have to mount it? i already have an internal HDD 250GB?

you can mount the hdd where you want from device manager.
Once it is mounted and working you can scan the network from your pc to find your box and share the disk. Samba is native in windows and enabled in the box.
