wifi cannot generate passphrase

when i try to connect to the wifi with my vu uno and tplink usb dongle. i trie to type in my encrypt wpa/wpa2 and press ok. then i get the error box : can not generate passphrase.

any solution for this problem??

blackhole 1.7.2 tried same error. and now installed 1.7.8 same error messedge
