Wifi start up

Hi all, Is there a way or a programme that starts up wifi connection to the router/internet connection automatically on start up in BH 1.7.6 instead of having to go through the process of starting it with the menu everytime Ultimo is switched on from being shut down. Thanks Frank

Wireless connection on the box starts up automatically when the box come up, prior to start GUI.

Mine doesn't do that. In network there is a green tic on the connection but no green light on wireless network interface.
Carn't log on to the box untill I go through the Wlan connection tabs and start it up manually. Doesn't show up on network on my computer either untill I start the connection manually and then wait for it to start the network.

What image, device and box do you have?

BH 1.7.6 on Ultimo box. The wifi dongle is the one that came with the Ultimo. I think there is a conflict as when I go to start the Wlan it says that another connection is running do I want to stop it and load the WLAN. There is 1 WLAN and 2 LAN connections for some reason and 1 is running although the box is not connected with a lead. Cannot figure out how to delete the second LAN connection. The first LAN is what I set the box up on with a lead before I figured out the wifi connection.

I've both Box and Wifi Vu+ dongle and with clean BH image I don't have the same issue.
I suggest to reflash the box, don't use VPN or other strainge plugins (like 3G modem plugins or Wifi access point plugin) and retry ....

Re-flashed the Ultimo and set everything up again. The wifi dongle now comes straight on to the network. All sorted now thanks for the info. Also done a full back up on a simple config to save having to load everything back up again incase I have a problem. Frank
