Will I have problems after loading bh 1.7.2 from bh1.7.3

Hi, I am currently using bh 1.7.3 and I am having trouble with no rytec-uk epg. A friend of mine in Scotland is using bh 1.7.2 and he is problem free. I am a relitive numie to these systems and when I 1st had this receiver it was loaded with a old bh image 1.6.0 i think and when I uploaded the 1.7.3 it took us 3 hours to get the stb working. It altered all my settings even my long/lat and I was starting to worr that I had damaged the stb. Will I have similar problems if I upload the other image. Thanks
 
If you look in the epg section you will see a post by Rytec explaining there is an issue with the system and that it is being worked on.

So changing to 1.7.2 will not fix the problem for you.

Also we do not support older images anymore, and 1.7.2 / 1.7.3 are very old images now, it is recommended you update to BH 2.0.2 Rev A, and then online update that to Rev B.
 
Thanks, im just nervous about aletring the settings to much incase I lose everything. Thanks again for the reply
