winscp or vu + control centre error

guys im trying to log in to box through either winscp or Vu+ control centre but no joy, any ideas?

Try WinScp

username: root
password: ( leave this field blank ) ... or just write "vuplus"

If you not enter a password .... you must be prompted to do then ... just press ENTER and you are in.

thanks Mate, ive used Winscp for years doen it exactly this was but its just not connecting for some reasom

Did you have on your STB

• Ftp enabled
• Telnet enabled

???

try ping your STB from your PC.
