@angelofsky1980 :thankyou:

Will be/or is this Linux driver dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw included in BH 2.0.1? Seems that isn't.

Solved  .

For those, who owns Zarlink MT352 based tuner (I don't promise, that it will work on all MT352 based devices).

Copy attached linuxtv.org zipped driver (unzip before copying) dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw by FTP (I'm using Vu+ Control Center) in your box flash memory to /lib/firmware/ folder
I did tests on Fujitsu Siemens DVB-T Mobile TV Tuner Model nr. VP-7045G - worked immediatly (see here http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_USB_Devices for details about supported devices)

@angelofsky: Could be this a problem of sensibility?

T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=480 MxCh= 0

P: Vendor=13d3 ProdID=3206 Rev= 0.00
S: Manufacturer=TWINHAN
S: Product=VP-7045
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA
I:* If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=dvb_usb_vp7045
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 512 Ivl=0ms

(Extracted from post #3)
I noticed, that during scanning, the blue LED, which indicates signal found, illuminates for a while, but it doesn't find any channel.
Tuner is detected and recognized as I wrote before.
How can I change MxPwr to 500mA?

Thanks.

Have you tried directly connected on the box or do you use some hub USB to connect your DVB USB device?
Or the device doesen't use much power or cannot get it from USB prot.
If you can, try to use an external HUB USB powered device

It's connected directly to rear USB port, (WLAN on other one) by my opinion needs more power, used on XP heats a lot.
I'll try this evening on powered USB HUB (7 ports, 2 amps total power).

PS: Is MxPwr assigned by driver or by other config file? Thank you.

I think it's assigned by USB driver ......

I think it's assigned by USB driver ......

I'll do some search for configuration descriptor:
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA (device has 1 interface, 1 line for configuration, 80 bus powered, max power 100mA)

I'll inform you, how changes dmesg on powered Hub.

Could you please post a "lsmod" output?
I'm curios to know what DVB USB driver is used by your device :)

I'll do it this evening, as I remember it's the same from post #2, one from Rev. D it's the same too. (I checked at first the one from Rev. D, next I overwritted it with one from post #2, size of files were the same).

I did some tests on powered Hub and rear USB connector too. Actually my device Zarlink MT352 based Fujitsu-Siemens VP-7045G is partially supported (I think for ever - too old) Linux device. It can't do automatic/manual scan, because it needs about 10 seconds to lock a channel. I've tested it on channels already memorized in box (like I did in posts #2 and #6). When it locks memorized channel, SNR and AGC are continuously oscillating from 0 to 99% - SNR and from 0 to 75% - AGC. Results are the same on powered Hub and direct rear USB connection.
I tested on channels scanned and memorized before by Hauppauge WinTV-Nova T HD (300 found instead of 19 by VP-7045G).

Anyway, I'm posting lsmod and cat usb. MT352 has particular PID managing, it's too old, and will remain as is (my opinion).
