hallo
I've managed to compile the driver myself finally. Attached are the patches for 20140812_rtl8192EU_linux_v4.3.1.1_11320.tar.gz
Since my goal was to get it running on solo2 VTI 8.x image, I had to add compile flags CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK and CONFIG_BRIDGE_NETFILTER, otherwise the driver caused kernel panic because of sk_buff structure layout mismatch on VTI image. Not sure that placing these flags in Makefile is the right way, but it does the job
So, now DLINK 131 rev E1A (VID:2001 PID:3319, RTL8192EU) works great on my solo2.
I'm also attaching the ipk - again, it confirmed working only on solo2, VTI 8.1 image, I did not tried it on any other images/platforms.
Hope this helps.
Hi. For Vuplus Zero, you can upload the attached file (via FTP) to this folder:
/lib/modules/3.13.5/kernel/net/wireless
Before uploading the file, change its extension to ".ko" by removing the last ".txt" part of the filename (I had to rename it as TXT because the forum wouldn't allow me to upload the file otherwise)
Then restart your vu zero and it will then let you use any Wifi dongle with Realtek 8192eu chipset
*PS: I've only tested this solution with BlackHole 3.0.4 image. Can't ensure it works in all other images

I found it, and is very simple for Vu uno and I guess all other STB
just open telnet and enter the following commands
opkg update
opkg install rtl8192eu
I am glad to hear that my little tip helped you. My adapter is connecting at 300 Mb/s using 2.4 GHz frequency. Maybe your STB is far from your access point. Try switching to 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz as 2.4 has wider range of coverageThank you for your guideline, I have connected TL-WN823N V2 Adapter to VU uno 4k, and follow your commands, it is working fine for me,
However it is connected to Access Point using 802.11g only, and its speed 54 MB, it wasn't able to connect to Access Point using 802.11n, and I have tested Adapter on Windows PC and it is able to connect to Access Point using 802.11n smoothly.
So is there any additional configuration required on VU uno 4k in order to let Adapter to connect to Access Point using 802.11n.
Thank you for your kind cooperation
