what do you mean ???

i have flash the receiver and now i cant restore the zip file which i made with this post instructions ...how do i put thebackup zip file in the usb , how i mount the usb and how i make restore ???...what is the Black Hole Hyperspace ???

thanks shiro, can you help me everytime I follow this I run into same problem that I cannot record one channel and watch another unless I stay on bh 2.0.9 iv even formatted hdd as maybe a bug somewhere. my tuners are the same every time its like every time I upgrade one of my tuners stop workin ive even done clean installs but to no avail

Hi, Thanks for the tutorial,

I have a VU+ Solo2, can I use the same for upgrading from BH 2.1.4 to the latest software?

I assume once I restore my personal settings from the back-up, the receiver will have exact same configuration as now with BH 2.1.4, tuners config, plug-ins, channels, etc So I won't need to install stuff again?

If I use the "Online Black Hole Image Updates" that I get to by pressing, the Green and Yellow button, does that keep my settings? or is that for something else?

Not sure if for here or should I create new thread, how do I know what I install myself and what came from the image? Like crossEPG, Autobouquets, etc
 
Hi, I want to upgrade vu zero from 2.15 to 2.17. Can I take a backup on usb stick and then install the settings from 2.15. If yes, do I have to install the 2.17 image from a usb stick and then change the usb stick to the one with the backup when I got the question If I want to retore settings and flash that.

Hi is there a guide on how to upgrade the firmware from the plugin menu from a vu duo2 please....I have the BH 2.1.7.01.looking to upgrade to the latest via the plugin. Can someone point in the right direction...thanks in advance

Only way is to full flash from USB.
 
Finally got it up and running thanks for the help.
I've also managed to upgrade my cable box and got hold of vu ultimo I've downloaded the latest BH image. My question is if managed to find rytec cable epg, unfortunately it doesn't download the full epg....any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi, is it possible to save settings in a Duo2 and then apply them recognised in an Ultimo? I don't want to lose sat positions, channels etc. Thanks
