New vu duo

Hi I've got a new duo and a 1tb hard drive to install, should I install the hard drive before I power up the machine and set the box up or should I set the box up then after setup complete I should install the hard rive and format it? Thanks

you can install it at any time.. remember to format and to set mountpoint..
 
Thanks, what image would you reccomend? I'm looking for one with a sly uk bouquet and good epg that updates daily automatically thanks for your help
 
the latest Black Hole image 2.0.9 is excellent, you can also add autobouquets plugin to create your channel bouquets
 
ou can easily configure the plugin to number the channels as per Sky, to download from a particular region, to display hd channels 1st, a handy little plugin,
you could also add Cool tv guide which has different styles of guide, some of which are similar to sky
 
Can someone please tell me where i get an autobouquets plug in and how to install it ??
At the moment i seem to be going round in circles, lots of people suggesting various plug ins but nobody telling me how to install.
I am stuck with a s**t A to Z channel listing and an awful EPG with a random channel listing.
I am using BH 2.0.9

im struggling abit with this, all posts are assumming you know to install
