Yes, it depends on the skin.
To solve this little issue, you can use the default skin or any other skin that you can download by Black Hole Addons Manager.

Will this very hard Q?,,,,and may be the Vu+ factory can answer or can add temperature censer which might be detectable by e2, and then by the image developer (he knows better,,if this possible or not)...., however the purpose of lowering the processor temp is to increase performance ,,,,I think,,,,!
Then a cooling fan may do good!
