New batteries are needed in your remote control, not the receiver, just slide the back, off the remote, and insert new batteries.

Thank you mike .. I tried to slide back but it's hard I'm gonna break it

Which VU+ model do you have?
I can't find an image, on the internet, that matches the photograph you've provided.

That's the remote that would come with a Vu+ Ultimo....

I have attached the Ultimo manual for you, page 13 shows you how to change the batteries.
