Just wondering guys if there is a better option than this that out of all the Sat and other channels I have on sat this one ( NHK HD 12.1 M/bit per sec video) is a pain as it has the most Judder issues than any other using the incorrect refresh rate.
To remove the judder issues on NHK HD I have to go to menu/setup/system/a/v Settings/ Refresh Rate and change 50 Hz to 60 Hz and its ok and once finished on that channel I have to switch back. Now I have tried the Multi option next to the 50 and 60 but nothing works in my favour as I originall thought that the multi option might automatically switch from 50 to 60 when required.
By the chance can someone please explain to me the function of "Multi" or is there something that i'm missing

Yes this is my conclusion too. It would be good if an image upgrade would fix this as it would be terrific if when you switch from a 50 refresh rate to 60 (vice and versa) it would automatically select the correct refresh rate.
 
Multi means that the output video signal refresh rate is not forced but automatically adapted to the display's available (or preferred) rate (HDMI/EDID), not adapted to the video source format...;)
 
You might try enabling the Autoresolution option that should adapt the output video definition to the original video source: maybe also the refresh rate is changed accordingly...

I will give this a go when I get back from work. Let you all know tomorrow.
 
I have set Auto resolution to YES (saved it) and changed Channel back to NHK Japan (back and forth from a 50Hz channel) and its still very Juddery. All the setting under/below Auto Resolution are set at Default. I even tried one of the setting being 1080P 30Hz as the is no 1080P 60Hz (set as 1080P 30) and it made no difference. Either i'm missing something or its not working.

Yes running 2.1.5 and its terrific. Is there a possibility that one of those setting below auto resolution is not set correctly. See majority of Satellite channels I watch are 50 Hz only very few are in 60Hz but NHK HD on Intelsat 19 166 Deg East is the the worst of all the 60 Hz channels I have for Judder and at the same time it have the highest Video bit rate then the others. Once I set NHK from 50 to 60Hz its spot on, no Judder whatsoever.
