Picons Problem

HI.Can someone please provide me with a complete step-by-step instruction on how to get picons displayed in both LCD and channellist on the Duo2 with Black Hole 2.1.7? I'm only able to find partial instructions, and I'm unable to get it to work.



I'm not sure what size picons to use (same size for both LCD and channellist?) and where to place them (same directory?). Do I need any special plugins?

Read the posts from yesterday ... all has been told.

Now i will answer this 2 questions.

Same Size ... 220x132 transparent picons --> best are halus61 picons " exclusive for Blackhole Team "

Same directory.

In flash --> /usr/share/enigma2/picon

Usb pen drive --> /media/usb/picon

and here is my lcd4config ... to display the picons on Lcd ready for this size ... attached zip file --> ftp to /etc/enigma2
This is more than needed to make it all work.

The lcd is working fine but do you have a file so it as it only shows channel name? and clock?

You have done what "this"? May be your USB is not mounted correctly, may be you do not have USB, but HDD... In that case, picons must be in (correctly mounted) /media/hdd/picon/ and all of these folders must have permissions 755, icons permissions 644
The look of your LCD, you can easily modyfy with "Open Webif" (extension)

You have done what "this"? May be your USB is not mounted correctly, may be you do not have USB, but HDD... In that case, picons must be in (correctly mounted) /media/hdd/picon/ and all of these folders must have permissions 755, icons permissions 644
The look of your LCD, you can easily modyfy with "Open Webif" (extension)

If you have "picons" in LCD, you´ll have picons in channel list. as i said if you have read all the posts i did, like this one -> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/picons.26010/#post-193725
With the lcd4config file i post, you´ll have clocks on your LCD ... analog and digital clocks ... weather, media playing logos downloaded from internet ( automatic ) when playing etc. For weather you have to adjust just your location by changing Porto, my location for your location.

To adjust that as you want, you can do it by open the Lcd4Linux plugin in plugins or by acessing with OpenWebif to LCD4Linux setup to adjust LCD4Config.

Don´t open new threads, regarding your particular "picons" issues to not spamm on the board.

To point you, another time, tell me where you want to put the picons ... i said to use an usb pen drive to do this ... alias ... i have said all you need for picons being displayed in channel list and duo2 LCD ...

For the last time " THE SIZE ARE THE SAME " 220x132 halus61 exclusive picons for blackhole team.

Now, i don´t what i must say more to help more ...

There´s lot of information regarding this topic around the forum ... intuitive and very explained. With the information and help provided by me on this section to you, it´s very complete.
