Vu+ Solo2 + signal lock

Hello

I recently purchased a Vu+ Solo2 to replacing my aging DM500.

My excitement is slowly turning to a nightmare as I am not able to lock to any satellite signal.
The same coax/cable connected to DM500 is able to lock with eb/no of over 10db

I have tried both tuners and results are the same.

I tried different versions of vix software to no avail, what could be wrong

What kind of satellite installation
do you have
and how did you configure in solo2
 
It's better to use a ready made sattelite settings for Enigma2, like Vhannibal. No need to lock every sattelite manualy.

My bad,

config mode = simple
mods = single
satellite = eutalsat ( 36.0E)
send Diseqc = 0

With the above , a manual scan yields 0 services
No lock either with satfinder
 
where is your dish pointing at? I doubt it's eutelsat 36 deg

what channels would you like to watch? or: what channels can you watch on your DM?
 
May be the copper wire of your antenna cable into the "F" connector connected to your tuner is a bit too short.
Try to make it a bit longer.
