I am going to give it a try, now that most obvious problems seem to have been solved. Will report any findings.
What is the recommended way to save/restore my bouquets from BH 1.7.9? All the rest I can re-install fresh, but rebuilding those are too much work.

Hello Mito, I'm quite new ti Vuplus world and I'm not sure where to ask this: like Dreamboxedit to manage bouquets from PC, which is excellent, is there a software to "work" on EPG, browsing, searching and possibly setting up timer? I am using DreamDroid for Android tablet but it's still suboptimal if compared to PC

You can use the web interface.
Simply type your Vu+ ip address into your web browser, click on EPG, select the event to record and finally click on Add Timer (watch icon).

After this release, should we expect that other minor updates would be done through "Bh Menu/Software Management/Software Update" or we might expect fresh install of 2.0.2 etc... ?
How I can just backup just settings? Is that called "BH Menu/Bakup Menu/Personal Backup" or it has to be done manually or with some 3rd party tools?

Of course small updates will be done via online update, it was not the intention to have to carry out a complete reflash so soon after the first release but it soon became apparent the fix could not be done online.
Hopefully a full update will only be required if there are major changes.

Why do it? I backed up all the plugins out of the box firmware remove, using only VuCC Vu+ Control Centre V0.5

I am new and not expert but I think, there are some problem in it when I push record button a message appears of No HDD or HDD require to .............. . I have tried to my best but failed. Kindly confirm.

Sounds very familiar to me. Is the drive properly mounted via Blue Panel? Without doing so you will see the drive via the browser and can e.g. play media on it but it won't record to it giving the message you reported. This is very confusing at least in the beginning. I also learned that it should be formatted EXT3 and not NTFS.
