2TB 3.5 Internal noise

Hi all,
My new segate ATA(ST32000542AS) 2Tb installed in my Vu+ Uno make some noise (clack, clack ....clack clack...) and the performances seems slow !
Any idea please? not enaugh powered? too large HDD for Vu?

Can you connect and test that HDD with a PC?
From the noise you heard it might be defective...

Hi,
Thanks for the quick replay.
This is the seconde HDD Segate 2TB I try to use and both make the same noise !
The HDD works fine on windows.

Hi Once again,
The exact model name is Seagate Barracuda LP SATA 3Gb/s - 2 To 5900 RPM 32 Mo Serial ATA II (bulk)
Could the problem comes from the power which is not enaugh higher on Vu?
it's showen in the lable +5V and +12 V what that mean?
