Airplay in XBMC

I'm pretty excited to try this new image.

Until I install , one of the main features I liked on XBMC is the integrated AirPlay functionality for streaming media from Apple devices running iOS.

AirPlayer for Enigma2 isn't being developed anymore, and since iOS 8, we don't have any stable solution for AirPlay for our VU+ devices.

WOuld anyone please try it?

True, I just tried it, and although my iPad recognizes the XBMC airplay server, nothing really works..

did you try it with iOS 8?? There are many compatibility issues

Pictures can be shown using Xbmc AirPlay in Vti Image. Video and Audio Playback does not work because it feelS as if no player is connected at that point in vti image. Video first image is shown but XbmC AirPlay does not know which player to use. It would be cool if bh team or Vu could adjust so xbmc knows to use e2 player when Playing back Xbmc AirPlay Video and Audio.

I also think so. XBMC would be an excellent AirPlay solution for our VU receivers.

I have not yet read all threads here but in vti forum someone found out howto use the internal xbmc instead of e2 player. Even if this does yet work properly I hope it will in the future because its best Chance to get proper AirPlay support!
