Hello,
I just bought this receiver, and trying to set it up as a mediaplayer as well. That's why I'm trying to make it work in 1920x1024/24p with autoresolution... unfortunately with no luck. Every time the receiver tries to switch to the mentioned resolution the whole thing freezes, only power cycle helps. Please help to find out what the problem could be. In fact when it starts to play a movie it switches the tv to 1920/24p but immediately hangs...

Solo doesn't support in HW 1080p resolution.

I know, that officially it doesn't support, and in the whole VU+ line only Solo2 supports it. But I read it in many places that with autoresolution it is possible to set it in 1080p. (ex.: ...ok, it doesn't allows me to attach a link, because I'm a newbie :))
And to be honest th Solo really switches the tv to 1080P/24 but hangs after that :). Anyway, the most important thing wouldn't be the 1080P, but the 24Hz, because many of my mkv-s have 24 frames/sec, and I would like to avoid juddering.

So, that's what I've read regarding my situation. Crashing wasn't mentioned...
