I didn't comment your post ;). Demo files are not illegal, but not for backup purposes rips yes :furious:. Vu+ Solo2 should support DTS-HD RMA no DTS-HD MA.

About DTS-HD support, I will move the posts into a new thread to make some clean into the Image Release Post.
 
Please, clarify what kind of DTS must be supported by Solo2 with a new image. The legal DTS specifications are below

@NickZ: RMA is Reduced Master Audio, now HRA - High Resolution Audio.

Note: Vu+ is producing satellite receivers, not home multimedia centers / Blue-Ray players. So DTS support is projected for satellite broadcast receiving.

Hi guys, after installing the new Black Hole 2.0.3, my dolby digital recordings doesnt play in dolby digital anymore, only stereo on my surround receiver. I have checked all the settings and they seem to be fine. Can it be the new drivers in the new BH or something else within my settings?

I've used some test files from a web site and some BD with DTS-HD tracks.
My ampli supports all DTS and DTS-HD formats but the audio comes to my ampli only in Stereo format (with or without downmix enabled).
In both cases the audio is reproduced correctly without freezes with Gigabit lan or wireless lan (300mbit).
 
I will up this thread with some tests made this evening after I've downloaded about 1Gb of demo files with some audio tracks.
Box used: Vu+Duo2
Ampli used: Onkyo TX-SR308
Connections: only HDMI 1.3 cable
Enigma2 downmix: OFF

is it possible to play the core-dts that is in dts-hd,the vu solo 2 plays dts-hd but my logitech z5500 doesn't support dts-hd how can i make the vu solo play the core dts?:confused:

I think no.
Actually dts-hd tracks are downmixed to stereo.
For this reason I think you can play that media but stereo audio will be supplied.

OK i have it via optical out because my z5500 does not have hdmi.i was suprised that the VU solo 2 could play m2ts files fluidly.but i went from happy to sad when it didnt have audio
