bh 2.15 troubles...recording

Vu+ Newbie
yesterday i decided to record something and have a lot of noisy problems

first , i use a common 32 Go usb stick but the record menu was not seeing it as hd...
so i used a usb stick that is windows-to-go certified...and seen like a drive .

this stick was formatted ntfs and i think was well seen by the record-menu setup because i was able to navigate and use a folder .
so i use it and formated it with ntfs when replugging it , it was now longer regognized or useable before i use the vuduo2 to format it in ext2 or else version .

when i pushed record : a menu with 5 options...
i took the 2 : record indefinitely

after an hour , i wanted to cancel and stop recording so i used stop button and poweroff

this morning i saw the usb stick blinking ...so i removed it then started the vuduo2 ...
here i saw it was still recording
and when i zapped channels only few where selectable : that should be those in the multiplex ...
the only solution was to use power button switch to set off the receiver .

so i got questions : can i make records with all usb stick or only those being "hd" ?
do the bh support ntfs and exfat ?

for ideas , may be record-menu could show to record the coming movies untill its end plus 15 minutes , or in an hours style .

last question is about keyboard and mouse , i plugged a hub that helps to use one mouse+ keyb for 3 computers , the keyb can have usbkey and when i set it to the vuduo2 , it is scanned....
so is there plan for menu being used by keyb ?
may be the windows key could call it ?
that could be better faster and smoother than the IR Remote Control , sparing its energy ...

may be in next open BH ?

something else that i wanted to report : the vuduo2 is connected using hdmi to a receiver pioneer vsx1019 that has speakers in 7.1 and is connected to a monitor using hdmi .
when i watch tv and set the sound to zero or mute , then the display of the vsx has a light saying pcm that blinks a lot of times per seconds .
may be you could check to prevent blinking with next bh releases ?

I think the blink is related to "no audio data received" from your box ...
If the blink ends when you increase volume from your box, my theory is correct and we cannot do nothing ..... because it's related directly to your amplifier.

your diag is right but when i mute sound at the pioneer , the light is going off and does not blink .
i have a aston xena twin hd [ that has a very buggy firmware ] for fransat satellite at 5w and a dvb-t tuner made by cgv [ that has a very good firmware ] m both of them are doing the mute of sound "correctly"
beside that , will you add keyboard support ? , that should help for zapping quickly when using keyb to type first letter of channel .

at last but not least , i was wondering if the bh image , could also handle to be a SNTP : Simple Network Time Protocol aka a time server for the lan ?
that could help to have all hardware using same clock without using the web . idea came to me because some routers or switches are synchronizing every second with www ntp servers ...

after editing my setup ...the vuduo2 is outputing sound in 5.1 and no more stereo . when i mute sound or set it at zero , the pioneer is not blinking .
