[BIG PROBLEM] BH 3.0.1 on Ultimo crashing when pressing REC button ...

Hi ...

I recently moved up to BH 3.0.1 but I am having a serious problem. When I press the "RECORD" button on my remote, the box crashes to a "Green Screen of Death" (in ref. to the famous Windows BSOD !!)

I have attached one of the crashlogs the box saved on the hard drive ...

If someone can help that would be great ...

Did you mount your HDD by Devices Manager?

The "HDD" is a remote HDD, stored on my NAS ... I mean a CIFS device ...

It was working perfactly in BH 2.1.7 but since 3.0.1, I'm systematically getting a crash screen ... :-(

I don't have a NAS, but setting up a network drive to use hdd from a different vu+ box on my network works for me without issue.

Maybe try using NFS instead of CIFS to see if it makes any difference (also do latest online updates).

I have just made an "online update" ... 81 packages updated, including OpenWebif and Enigma2 ...

Shouldn't we see a 3.0.2 coming soon ?

Edit : Ok I did not see the 3.0.1C ...

I finally found my problem ...

For a totally unknown reason, the /hdd directory, which became a symbolic link after I moved to a NAS based hdd, was gone away ...

After I recreated correctly all that stuff, the problem is now fixed ...
