can we running the universe with 3.0.1? if yes we have not any problem with space of flash memory.

updated and now not starting just logo blackhole does not go ahead ?
Any suggestions ??

this software F does not work on uno after update is ok now second UNO box same problem. I dont know if its the skin installed earlier or what but after reboot uno stuck on starting and BH logo.
I suggest Uno users not to update to stay on previous versions.

2.17 is the best for uno with 3.0.1 the flash is full and DHCP CANNOT be a permanent one if you dont add 8.8.8.8 as the primary server so back to 2.17. Sorry I hope you read this and see what maybe is possible in future

The reason is the flash is full.

Reflash the box with the File attched to the first post, instead of online updating to 3.0.1.F

Or use BH in multiboot so that you have a larger flash, then you can online update.

Hi

I'm unfortunately struggled by problems after updating my VU+ DUO2 to 3.0.1.F. The problems covers YouTube failures, time failures, freeze when the DUO2 is in stand by (can't reboot and need OFF/ON by the mains power switch) and strange network problems on LAN/WiFi connection...

Any suggestions is really appreciated?

The network adatpter DOES NOT ACCEPT a permanent ip address if DHCP IS OFF. sO ONE NEEDS TO Keep switching on and off and reput the IP address this is NOT THE case with 2.17 or with new VIX images.
So look into this network issue I am not the ONLY ONE. Its a bug is you use a permanent ip which is DHCP DISABLED
so just compare 2.17 to 3.0 VERSION AND YOU WILL KNOW

tried flashing original file as above but network is still same problem, need to keep starting DHCP AS THE PERMANENT ip RECOGNITION is not possible it needs to be restarted again. I feel these new firmware 3.0 is NOT for older boxes
Its now is similar to the old dreambox 500

Static IP was definitely my problem. Everything is now changed to DHCP ande everything is working properly - thanks :)

You can use DHCP Reservations on your routed to set up a fixed IP to your box (associate mac-address of your box to your desired IP).
Online update to F version should fix your problem too.

it did not boss but I SOLVED IT BY ADDING THE dns primary and secondary and the fixed IP NOW IS OK.
I must put the DNS of my provider, this was not need in 2.17 and earlier versions, the box used to automatically get them BUT now I need to add them manually if I want want fixed IP and DHCP off.
